It features a slatted foundation and a gas lift mechanism for easy access to the ottoman storage space. This bed frame is made from high-quality wood. It is compatible with King, Small Double, and Double mattress sizes. The headboard is between 70' inches & 90' inches high and the footboard is 24' inches high. The bed frame does require assembly. HEADBOARDS COME IN 2 PIECES - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CEILING IS HIGH ENOUGH IF YOU'RE ORDERING A 90" HIGH HEADBOARD.
