This is a Carter Hoffman Original - hand carved wooden statue.


Nicknamed “Oski” or formally as “Yohanes” the Golden Bear, is the University of California, Berkeley college mascot. He’s depicted with his signature cardigan and cap.


This piece was hand carved sometime in the 1950’s and is part of the College Mascot art pieces from Carter Hoffman. This is a very sought after by collectors, and a very rare, one of a kind art piece. Other similar works from the mascot collection have been seen selling online for $350-$800.


⚠️ Item has some minor cosmetic scuffs on the paint - no major damage or cracks. Please look at photos carefully before purchasing. This item is still in good condition for being over 70 years old
