Unit powers on and I can see four tubes light up through the perforated chrome case from the top. I don’t have the expertise to do additional testing.

I have personally owned it for about five years. It has been in storage that entire time. And I acquired it at a storage auction from a man who was an engineer and had it in his storage for 15 to 20 years prior to that. Chrome is in great condition. The brand name Palomar has rubbed off as a result o age. The unit is clean of dust and aesthetics look great overall..
