Founded in 1972 in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. We started a tableware wholesale business, and later started planning and developing original products with the desire to deliver products that fit the lifestyles we envisioned. Since 2010, we have been expanding our products not only in Japan but also to Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, etc., and in 2016 we established a European subsidiary, KINTO Europe B.V. Furthermore, in 2019, we established an American subsidiary, KINTO USA, Inc.
