I tested this lamp by plugging it into an extension cord and not plugging it directly into the electrical outlet. The attachment plug is dangerous therefore it should be fixed by a professional. I left it ‘as is’ to show that the existing wiring works fine. I am not responsible for any damage if it is not changed. This lamp is very old and it definitely has that vintage/antique look to it. It has a milk glass shade which I’m not sure it is original to the lamp, the shade is in excellent condion. I purchased it at an auction so I do not know its history. This is an antique cast iron floor lamp with a milk glass shade and an ornate base. It has a turn switch control style and a primitive lighting technology. The lamp has a mid-century vintage style and a white paint finish. It stands at 27” tall, 6 1/2 inches wide and weighs 5 pounds. The lamp has a single setting and is corded. It is suitable for use in various rooms such as the bedroom, living room, home office/study, and dining room. The lamp is manufactured by an unknown company except for the M0322 marking on the base. Thanks for looking !!
