A very large lovely George Jones Birds & Bloom pot with handles & lid.
Reg. No. 56152. Height approx. 15 inches tall, 12 inches widest at base.
Been in the family for generations, looked into & informed as follows:-
A slop bucket and was used as part of a wash set when the
water in the basin had been used it was poured into the slop bucket to
be carried away - it was easier than trying to carry the waste water in
the basin. They were also used in the kitchen
for waste peelings etc.
The registration number shows that the pattern was first registered
on the 13th September 1886.
In excellent condition, it is large and in such lovely original order hence dont want to risk posting.
