This is a complete set of X FILES SEASON THREE: SILVER PARALLEL "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE" trading cards. This set was produced back in 1996 by TOPPS.

A FOIL VERSION FOR THE CHECKLIST WAS NOT MADE IN THIS COLLECTION, so this set is COMPLETE at 71 SILVER FOIL STAMPED cards (a standard checklist card is included to make it a 72-card set)

This is a complete series consisting of 72 cards in all (#1-#72). ALL 71 BASE CARDS ARE FOIL STAMPED* (a standard checklist is included - a SILVER CHECKLIST WAS NOT MADE). You get #1 - #71 in SILVER FOIL STAMPING & #72, no silver stamping.

These special Parallel cards were inserted in packs at a rate of one per pack. The card fronts and backs have the same images and text as the regular set. The difference is that each card in this set is silver foil stamped on the front with the words "The Truth Is Out There" in a silver bar.  *A Silver Foil version of the checklist was not made. It does not exist.

This card set focused on the episodes that made up the X-Files third season on air, and was the third series produced by the TOPPS company. This set not only gives synopses and cast titles of every episode, but also devotes space to a "Season In Review."

This card set serves to capture one of the best television series of our time & explore the wonders of the Unexplained that it offered. This card set features images from the third season of shows.

Many cards have condition issues of Ink-lifting (small white specks on the surface). This was very common with how these cards were manufactured.
