400th anniversary of the Battle of Khotyn

 The 400th anniversary of the Battle of Khotyn stamped "Józef Brandt. Battle of Khotyn (1867)" was put into circulation on September 2, 2021.The issue was created in cooperation with the Polish and Lithuanian post offices and is dedicated to the battle between the troops of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire near the Khotyn fortress, in which the Ukrainian Cossacks under the leadership of Hetman Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachny played a decisive role.The postal block depicts a fragment of a reproduction of the painting "The Battle of Khotyn" by Polish artist Józef Brandt. In the center of the painting is the Lithuanian Grand Hetman Jan-Karol Hodkiewicz, the commanders of the Polish army and the Zaporozhian Army.
