Antique Heather Grey Wool Stockings, Edwardian 1900s size 8-1/2, some issues


ERA: True vintage item from the 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the foot is 8-1/2 inches long. The stockings are 23 inches long
MATERIAL: thin knit wool
LABEL: none
CLEANING: hand washed
Blue-grey and ivory heather seamed stockings, made of a thin wool. Keyhole in the top, double knit feet. Full fashioned, garter style

CONDITION: The stockings are in very good condition. There is a 1/4 inch repair on the top of one toe. The seams on the backs of the heels have been stitched. I don't see any holes in the stockings, but there are several scattered thin spots (up to 1/4 inch) The thin spots are slightly sheer and may eventually becomes holes in you plan to wear the stockings.
