Shipping & Delivery

Please check your individual item's description for which delivery method will be used and then read the important information below regarding that particular delivery method: 

·       LARGER ITEMS - For our larger items we have 3 different delivery methods depending on the item and from which of our warehouses it will be sent from:
STANDARD COURIER
2 MAN COURIER
PALLET KERBSIDE VIA HGV
Please check your individual item's description to know more details about which method will be used and specific details below on what this will entail.

·       PALLET KERBSIDE VIA HGV DELIVERIES - If mentioned in your listing's description, this will be our standard delivery method for some of our larger dining tables and other large items as this is the safest and most cost-effective delivery method for some items. This will be a kerbside delivery on a pallet via heavy goods vehicle or forklift. If there are any restrictions to your premises that could prevent access for the truck, you would need to contact us before placing your order so that we can arrange an alternative delivery method for you (which there may be an extra charge for). For kerbside deliveries of heavy items please be aware that you may also need an extra pair of hands on the day to help to get the item indoors. (Or choose to upgrade to a 2-man courier option - see below).

·        The above method does not have a prebooked delivery day as such but you will receive notification of dispatch from our warehouse, meaning that your item will be delivered within a few days thereafter. Upon receiving this dispatch notification, please inform us if there is anything preventing you from being at home to receive your delivery in the coming days so that we can arrange to reschedule the delivery to a day when someone will be home. 

·       PREFER AN UPGRADED DELIVERY OPTION? - For heavier items, that use the above PALLET delivery method you also have the option to upgrade your delivery to a 2-man (to door) service with a prebooked delivery day. The surcharge for this method is often in the region of an additional £40-£50 however this can vary from postcode to postcode. If you would like a more accurate quotation then please contact us with your postcode prior to placing your order.

·       HAVE YOU SENT US YOUR MOBILE NUMBER? - No mobile number could result in delays - we don't always receive your number through the eBay system so it is vital that you send us a message with your mobile number after placing your order to avoid any possible delays with your order. This is especially important with larger items as often the couriers need to contact you directly in order to book in your delivery day. 

·       STANDARD COURIER - Once your item dispatches We will upload tracking information onto the eBay system and send you a message to let you know that it has left us so that you can track its progress with the individual courier company.

·       2-MAN COURIERS - For this method a mobile number is vital (see above) as the couriers will contact you directly either by text or phone to book in a delivery with you. Please don’t be too hasty to disregard text messages as spam without checking with us first as often these contain a link that you will need to click on in order to book in your chosen delivery day (for example with our couriers Arrow XL). If you have received our dispatch notification but have not heard from the couriers within 48 hours of this then there could be a problem with your mobile number or the couriers may have struggled to make contact with you so, please let us know so that we can chase this up for you.

Our Ts&Cs - Please read before placing your order

·      NOT PLANNING TO USE YOUR ITEM STRAIGHTAWAY? .....IT STILL NEEDS CHECKING! -Damages, although rare, need to be reported within 48 hours of receiving your goods. Please ensure that you check your parcel, immediately upon receipt for any signs of damage to the external packaging, and should you notice any upon delivery then please request that the driver make a note of this on the delivery note / PDA. (Without this we are unable to investigate this with the courier company). More often than not,damage to external packaging does not affect their internal contents as they are packaged well in order to avoid this. However, should you find any signs of damage to the internal item, this would need to be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt and detailed photographs taken of any signs of damage as well as of the external packaging to allow us to investigate this in detail and come to an agreed solution with you. 

·       NOT GOING TO BE IN? PLEASE LET US KNOW -MISSED DELIVERIES of heavy furniture items will carry a surcharge for a 2nd delivery attempt. Missed deliveries of smaller items will only have 3 delivery attempts before being returned to sender, after which extra charges will apply for redelivery. 

·       MEASURE, MEASURE & MEASURE ONCE MORE! -Please remember to fully measure up before placing your order. This is especially important for larger furniture items and remember that you may need to measure not just your room space but also your doorways too to be sure that you can get the item through your entrances and into your chosen room. Sadly,we cannot accept responsibility for any inaccurate measurements taken. Most of our large dining tables come in 2 parts.... one for the top and the other for the legs but if in doubt please enquire about your specific item before ordering.

·      PREORDER ITEMS - Some of our items may carry longer lead-times as they are preorder items. Our most popular items are often already sold out on arrival and preordering can sometimes be the only way to guarantee you your favourite item from our next shipment.  The arrival dates provided are the dates due into our warehouse and are an estimate. Please be aware that due to the volatile climate we are currently living in, shipping dates are subject to change and can be altered by the shipping companies, which is sadly something that is often beyond our control. We will however keep you updated every step of the way on your item’s progress and if your item is severely delayed for whatever reason then of course you can choose to cancel your order before its arrival.  

·      HANDCRAFTED AND FULL OF CHARM! -  As the majority of our items are handcrafted, all measurements provided are approximate and can vary slightly from item to item. This also means that no two items are the same and there may be slight discrepancies between two of the same items. These variations are part of the charm of our items and as a result there may be natural variations in features such as shades of wood colour, grain patterns,knots and such variations will not be treated as defects. Colours of items can also vary depending on the lighting conditions in which the photos were taken or can vary depending on the screens on which they are viewed. We try to include as many photos as we can on our listings to truly reflect the colours of our items and how they may appear from different angles. We also urge you,if unsure to view the items across different devices and on different types of screens as this can also change how the items appear. We are always happy to provide more photos if we have them so if in doubt, please ask! 

·       NOT HAPPY ABOUT SOMETHING? .... IT'S GOOD TO TALK!....Please therefore contact us before opening a case with eBay! We understand that sometimes, no matter how hard we may try, that some things are just destined not to go to plan but we truly believe that no problem is unsolvable. We are not a big corporate giant and therefore like to solve everything on a very personal level without any robotic replies so please just drop us a message before thinking about opening a case. Once a case has been opened, we are often more restricted in the ways in which we can resolve things so we would much prefer to resolve this through communication in the first instance.
