You are bidding on an ANTIQUE telephone. This telephone is by the American Bell Telephone Company. The phone is a candlestick type of phone. The phone is cool per it's a metal - nickel/chrome phone. This comes with an early plastic or some other similar material ear piece. The number on the front of the are you speak into shows '229' - believe that is the model number. The back shows 'Property of the American Bell Telephone Company - Patented July 9, 89 Nov. 17, 91 Nov. 1, 92'. So, this is a 1890's telephone - very early. Dimensions: 12" tall x 6" wide and weighs 4 lbs, 4 ounces. Condition: the metal is pretty nice per age - shows some scuffs - but nice and shiny. The cords are good but not connected and cut. Earpiece is good but a bit faded. This may be missing a piece - a funnel type piece in the receiver. Not sure if there's other items missing. See pictures.
