This is a hand embroidered landscape from the 1930s, the quality of the stitchwork is absolutely amazing!  In the right lighting the threads almost come alive so as you move the tones slightly change.

It's mounted and set in a simple wooden frame, which was the style back in that day.

The scene is an English thatch roofed cottage with trees, flowers, birds and the figure of a person.

Excellent condition, overall measurement 40cm X 34cm. Picture is 29cm x 22cm

I've had a few framed tapestries and must say that this has been one of my favourites. Sorry to see it go but I'm downsizing and won't have room for everything.
