1950s Men's Benrus Manual Wind Watch

This is a very nice men's Benrus manual wind watch, made sometime during the 1950s. The 17 jewel Model BB14 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The dial on this watch features the Benrus red/yellow/blue bar below the logo (Romanian colors, as the founder of the company Benjamin Lazarus was from Romania).  The dial is in very good condition for its age - there is some heavy patina / discoloration around the edges, however, this can not be seen when the watch is fully assembled (see pictures). The 10k gold filled case with fancy lugs has been cleaned and polished, and shows some surface scratches but no gold loss to be seen anywhere.  A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed.  Note that this watch is a "front loader", meaning that access to the movement is made by removing the crystal (it is attached to the bezel and the entire bezel snaps on/off) and then the movement can be lifted out of the case.  Overall, the watch is in excellent condition and ready to wear!  Please see pictures for more details, and feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase.

Please keep in mind that it takes a lot of my time, money, and knowledge to get these watches in reliable, running order and to make them look the best they can. I believe I am listing each watch at a fair market value -- I take the time to do a lot of research, and frequently check the "going rate" for watches that are similar to what I am offering. As a result, I am happy to accept REASONABLE offers, but expect that in most cases, I will only knock off $5.00 from my original asking price. Thank you for your understanding.

I do combine shipping -- all items purchased at the same time will be shipped together in one box for a flat $6.00 fee. Simply add the items you wish to purchase to your cart, and when you check out, you should see one $6.00 flat shipping charge.

Send me a message if for any reason you see shipping charges greater than $6.00 so that I can send you a refund of the excess.
