For sale is my Ford Transit Mk2 Lwb twin axle. As you can see it’s been restored to a very high standard. Lots of time and money has gone into the restoration. Below is a list of work that has been done including a respray in her original colour of diamond white.
All mechanical work done is as follows:- every bush replaced, all track rods/tie rods replaced, all brakes front and rear with new brake cylinders, new discs, pads shoes handbrake cable some brake pipes and new master cylinder. Also new brake load valve over rear axle. Fitted a 2.5di engine with new timing belt/tension etc. New fuel pump fitted. Full service. Fitted a mt75 5 speed gearbox also fitted a new clutch, pressure plate and truss bearing. Both engine and gearbox new mounts as well. Fitted two new batteries stronger ones with extra cell in each. Fitted new Fan and belt. New radiator fitted with new top mounts. Four new shock absorbers fitted and spring bushes replaced. Fitted new mechanical fuel pump, had fuel tank removed and refurbished and new fuel sender fitted. Also new fuel filter. New dual horn fitted. Six new tyres fitted.
Every light has been replaced with new ones inside and out and new bulbs. Dash clocks replaced for one with built in time clock. Period Ford radio 5push button fitted. New wipers complete and washer jets fitted. Mk3 seats with headrests fitted, fully refurbished before installation. Made a new rubber mat for the front. New head cloth and new sun visors. New door cards all around. New inner handles. Complete set of new seatbelts. Two new a/frame windows plus replacement windows all round with all new rubber seals. All new door seals. New rear door catches/springs. New rubber step mats. Complete new door mirrors. New lights, wiper and indicator controls. New fuel tank sender. New heater matrix, fan and motor. New thermostat.
Bodywork done:- all doors replaced except side loading door. Bonnet, front wings, new front crossmember and finishing plate, new front window scuttle plus window side a/pillars and top of window cut out and new piece welded in so now solid all around front screen. New rear pillars both sides as you will see in pictures, new rear valance, new rear wheel arches, replacement inner rear tubs, both sides between the rear arches and rear valance lower quarter panels new inner and outer panels. Some welding and replacement parts at door steps and top of dash. Solid floor and chassis.
New mud flaps front and rear.
So practically a new van.
As you can see I have added graphics, 4 front spotlights, a genuine front spoiler, two rear roof work lights and a towbar.
