Item: Dybdahl Denmark studio art pottery 4-6 cup tea pot. Suncrest face design. Saltglaze.

Dybdahl pottery was founded by a husband and wife team, Margaret and Palle Dybdahl with there workshop located in North Zealand, Allerod. Palle potted under Holbaek Pottery and studied at the Danish Design school in 1936. Margaret was educated at Roserup-Boyesen Art School 1936-37 where she met Palle. Margaret was a very accomplished painter and decorator of pottery but was never a potter. Margaret designs were always quirky and unique with gentle feeling in her designs.
