A really nice lamp base. In heavy white ceramic. Stands 27cm tall before the fitting.

Unsure of maker as there's no stamp but my thoughts are Royal Daulton or Bergboms.  Works perfectly fine with the original inline switch says crater. Nice long 2M cable. It just needs a shade of your choice now.
