For sale is an EVGA / NVidia Reference GTX 780 SC Edition 3GB Video Graphics card.  This card is in superb cosmetic and working condition - it even still has the protective film on the cooler window, as can be seen in the photos. It will work in both Windows and MacOS.

Although it is NOT flashed, it is Apple Metal supported, and will work superbly with macOS 10.8.3 Mountain Lion through Mojave to macOS 12 Monterey.  EFI boot screen support can be emulated by installation of OpenCore in macOS 10.14.6 Mojave onwards.  Boot screen emulation can also be obtained via installation of rEFInd.

This card works in Mac Pros with EFI64, and therefore is suitable for the Mac Pro 3,1 through to 5,1 (2008 - 2012).  It will not work in the Mac pro 1,1 and 2,1.

The BIOS provides Base Clock: 941MHz / Boost Clock: 993MHz / Memory: 1502MHz.  Shading Units: 2304
 
This NVidia Reference GTX780 Graphics card has 3GB (3072MB) of GDDR5 memory, and output ports available are: 1 x Dual-Link DVI-I, 1 x Single-Link DVI-I, 1 x HDMI and 1 x Displayport, all of which work in macOS and Windows.

This card can output on up to 4 displays simultaneously, with output resolutions:
1 x DP (Max resolution: 4096 x 2160 @60Hz)
1 x HDMI (Max resolution: 2560 x 1600 @60Hz / 4096 x 2160 @30Hz)
2 x DVI (Max resolution: 2560 x 1600 @60Hz)

IMPORTANT:
Note1: This GPU should be installed in a x16 PCI slot, and requires auxiliary PCIe cable power supplied via its 1 x 6-pin and 1 x 8-pin connector.  The cable type will of course depend on whether your system is PC or Mac.
Note 2: There is a known issue with the GTX 680/780 series concerning Catalina and newer, which appears in some instances to block output from the Displayport.  Other ports in Catalina are unaffected and DP is fine on High Sierra, Mojave, etc.  However, installation of OpenCore v0.8.0 appears to overcome this.

These are still fantastic cards for medium gaming, editing or high-end 3D design work, with superb cooling via a single quiet blower-style fan. The card itself is in superb cosmetic condition, mint throughout and working perfectly.
