Grading System

We use a simplified grading system of New, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Damaged for

the main components of a golf club or set. However, shafts, bags, and

accessories are evaluated using a slightly different grading system that

includes the corresponding details.

Club Head Grades

New: Club or set is brand new and in original manufacturer's shrink wrap with no marks or signs of use.

Excellent:

Almost unblemished with minor wear, no visible marks on the crown,

back, or top of the club, and imperceptible marks on the face.

Very Good: Top-end pre-owned with faint marks on the face, unblemished crown, and minor wear marks on the back or sole.

Good:

Average amount of wear with clear ball impact marks on the face, light

marks on the crown, and some blemishes to the paintwork.

Fair:

Seen more than average use with clear marks and chips on the crown,

face, and back. The paintwork may have chips, and graphite shafts may

show wear marks, but the performance is unaffected.

Damaged: Suitable for spares/repairs with significant damage or missing parts.
