The true key to the Morgan Dollar series! U.S. Mint records show a mintage of 12,000 circulation (business) strikes and 880 Proofs, but no business strikes have surfaced in 129 years, which most likely means that all were indiscriminately melted in 1918 under the Bland-Allison Act.
