This is a J16 Rocking Chair, originally designed in 1944 by Hans Wegner. This example was produced by FDB by Mobler in Denmark in the early 1970s. The rocker has a black ebonized wood frame, and retains its original paper cord woven seat.

This chair measures 36.6 inches long, 24.8 inches wide, and 42.1 inches high. It has a seat height of 16.5 inches. The arms show some wear but still present nicely. Bits of the chair body appear to have been touched up at some point. There are some water stains on the undercarriage of the original paper cord seat. The top of the seat looks good with nominal spots. Overall, this piece is in very good condition with a small amount of wear apparent. Please see photos.

The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
