Jean Pouyat Limoges Hand Painted Signed JP Wernig Baltimore Pink Wild Rose Tray Circa 1903
Very nice porcelain tray. Nicely decorated with large hand painted pink wild roses over a background of blue, purple, pink and yellow. With gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse J. P. L over France. This mark was used by Jean Pouyat in Limoges France between 1891 and 1932. Also signed on the reverse by the artist J. P. Wernig Baltimore MD 1903 with "Gus from Nellie."
Has some minor wear along the edge, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 12 1/8 inches long x 9 3/4 inches wide.
