This heavy cut crystal water jug has no maker's name or mark, possibly because there are some tiny inclusions in the glass itself, and it was considered to be seconds quality. The cutting pattern is of crossed diagonals infilled with small crosses, and topped with vertical splits. The handle is substantial and has been applied from the bottom up. The base is star-cut. 

The jug is 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall, 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter at the base, and 15.5 cm (6 inches) from the curve of the handle to the widest point of the body. It holds 1.75 pints (1 litre) and weighs 1.06 kilos before packaging. 

This item is in excellent previously owned condition, with no chips, cracks or surface wear, and appears unused.
