Sixth-plate, 1840s post mortem daguerreotype of a well-dressed man in profile. Full leather case, complete and intact with no repairs. The dag has light wipes, visible when viewed at angles, but are generally not very noticeable. Also, light tarnish and a few abrasions. Resealed with archival tape.
