This is a very unusual Victorian brass striking mantle clock.
It uses an 8 day french movement that strikes the hours and the halfs on a pleasant sounding bell.
It runs/strikes ok but is very dirty.
The brass case is cut card work unlike anything I've seen for a while.
I would suppose it would have originaly been under a dome.
The clock stands 10ins high 6.75ins wide and 4ins deep.
This is a very good quality decorative antique clock that with a bit of tlc will be a valuable addition to any collection.
This can be seen ticking away in my shop in Chingford.
