This was passed on to me and I’ve carried with me long enough & time to pass it along for someone else to appreciate…I believe it to be Egyptian , although not 100 percent . I have had people tell me it’s Iran , Persian …. “I had someone just tell me it’s Persian for a fact “ Although that is hear say Lol! I am in absolute awe the time and dedication in hand making this tray …I will add , what someone versed in these kind of trays told me , as to its making … Not my words his…. It is 12.5” x 9.5” I have not polished it , and will leave that up to new owner. If by chance I’m mistaken please let me know. Thank you for looking

They beat it over a TAR covered area of a wooden piece to get the deep indentations ( and resolution) in their metal. Brass, copper or silver.
