History
The Aviation Club of France was located at 104 Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It was created in 1907 by a group of airmen and closed in 2015 after a liquidation. Originally, it was a private game circle reserved for airmen, little by little, it opened up to other members, becoming at the dawn of the 1960s one of the most popular game circles in the whole. Paris, and renowned in the middle of the game especially since the introduction of poker in 1995, and even more with the organization in 2003 of the first stage of the World Poker Tour outside the American continent: the Paris Grand Prix. Among the other games offered by the club: Backgammon, Blackjack, Baccarat and Punto banco. Acquired by Groupe Barrière in 2019, it became the Barrier Club Paris .
