Antique British earthenware white sprig molded jug with with and gold border. Applied sprig pattern referred to as "The Kill." Applied pad mark 42 on the base. Produced by John & William Ridgway. Circa 1814 to 1830.
Has some wear to the gilding, a discolored crack extending from the shoulder into the body, and the entire handle has been professionally replaced and overpainted to match.
Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide from spout to handle x 4 3/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
