Deep grooved Uk Vocalion pressed by Decca in true mono, this quiet storm classic with tunes from the Isleys, Curtis Mayfield and Bobby Womack, given their gospelly style harmonies treatment, drenched where needed in blues harmonica. Their sound is effective, authentic and most of all attractive, and heard to its best effect in this small club setting in great sound here.Both sides of this are great tunes throughout, where so many 60's albums had a single or two and then filler. Not here! So ridiculously scarce it hardly ever pops up for sale. Plays excellent.
