1940’s Fait’s Pacific Northwest Travel Guide & Highway U.S. 40 Accordion Post Card

This is a fascinating Travel Guide for those familiar with the “Pacific Northwest” and the history of it’s Travel and Tourism.

First, you get a great, “mint condition” Highway U.S. 40 “The Victory Highway” accordion type post card folder dated 1939 with 19 (front & back) full color images of various locations/sites along the U.S. 40 route.

Second, there is this fantastic, no date but I am sure 1940’s vintage, excellent condition, “Fait’s Pacific Northwest Guide.” This 8 ½” x 11”; 13 double sided page booklet has the “Where to Go” places for (it seems) everywhere in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, British Columbia, Saskatchewan.

Lodging, site seeing, fishing, hunting, drinking, dancing, looking for love. You name it, it is in this booklet.  Wish I was young again, I would try to find some of these places.

See photos.
