U2, BOY, ORIG 1980 UK ISLAND VINYL LP, NEW WAVE / ALTERNATIVE / POP ROCK, EX
U2 – Boy (12” LP)
U2 are a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono (vocals and
guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar)
and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion). The band formed in 1976 when the
members were teenagers with limited musical proficiency. By the mid-1980s,
however, the band had become a top international act, noted for their anthemic
sound, Bono’s impassioned vocals, and The Edge’s textural guitar playing.

(has a few light marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (matt):
excellent
(very light corner wear, the odd small edge crease, the odd small mark).

I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or
records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also
covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no
lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear
and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no
major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the
occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably
deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and
contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration,
etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and
displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents
will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise,
etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a
collection-filler.
