Vintage ovoid porcelain trinket box with gilt ormolu mounts. Nicely
decorated in the Sevres style and hand painted in orange with gold gilt
floral and scrollwork overlay. The center of the lid is white with hand
painted pink, blue, and purple flowers. Marked on the bottom France in
green and Decore Main in red with a pseudo Sevres mark below. Probably
decorated in Paris between 1940s to 1970s.
Has some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 3 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
