Nippon Hand Painted Floral Cobalt & Gold Scrollwork Creamer & Sugar C.1891-1921

Antique Japanese porcelain creamer and sugar. Decorated with hand painted purple, dark pink, blue, and yellow flowers over a white framed in gold scrollwork. Has a cobalt blue background with gold net/lattice design along the top. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked on the base, but has a silver mark on the inside of the sugar and bottom of the sugar lid. Probably made during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain. Circa 1891 to 1921.

Has some wear to the gilding. The creamer is in otherwise good condition. The sugar has a chip to the edge of the lid and one of the handles has been broken in three places and glued back on.

The creamer measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 2 3/4 inches tall.
The sugar measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide from handle to handle x 3 inches tall including the lid finial and handles.

These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
