Schlaggenwald Gold Vermicelli Star Floral & Green Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1830-1846

antique mid 19th century porcelain footed tea cup and saucer. Decorated
with a gold Vermicelli gilt star with green scallops in the center of
the cup and saucer. With gold floral scrollwork designs in between each
point of the star. Has relief molded and gold scrollwork edge. Gold
floral band on the outside of the cup. The cup is marked on the bottom
with an incised S used in Schlaggenwald. The saucer has an impressed
Lippert & Haas Schlaggenwald mark used between 1830 and 1846.
Has two flakes to one of the feet of the cup, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 6 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
