Hi,

For sale is our much loved 1994 Elddis Cyclone GT.

We've had it for ten years and have had many trips away. We were always aware that it was an old van and that it probably had some water damage/damp that was repaired/resealed by the previous owners. They even had put wooden braces under the van as support to a spongy floor.

During the ten years the van has had a spongy floor repaired by me, new carpets, LED lighting to replace the older power hungry bulbs. New tyres fitted last year - I have the receipt in the van I think.
Never been smoked in, very clean inside.

Now to the bad bits...

A few years back, the caravan cover (which was a tad too large for the van) had pockets of water gathered at the front and back left corners - it damaged the plywood floor underneath and I tried to repair with isopron. Doesn't look pretty but we carried on with no issues. At some point we had some water coming in at the back left of the van and this was caused by leaking grab handles. I removed them and repaired the damage to the top floor.

The most recent issue which prompts the sale is that water has been getting in at the rear left and I don't know where. I was considering stripping out the back section and repairing but I haven't either the time or space to do this. You can see the damage in the photos.

It's a shame as we last used the van this time last year.

Van comes with a decent porch awning, a 135w AH leisure battery, hook-up cable, waste and fresh water containers, some gas, wheel chocks, spare wheel, alko hitch, hitch lock, aerial, water pump plus other bits n bobs.

There's other stuff wrong with the van such as some of the blinds are a bit annoying in that they dont spring back after being pulled down, plus there's a fair amount of gaffa tape and expandable foam holding other stuff together! Didn't bother us too much as we just enjoyed being away in it.

Anyway, as I said, it's an old van that is a bit rough around the edges and is really a project for someone to rip the rear section out and repair some of the rotten timber underneath. Welcome to view it as it's based in the Blue Self Storage park at Wentloog.
