Up for sale is a bone china teapot made by Aynsley in England in the Elizabeth Smooth pattern (7947). In production from 1985 to 2015, this pattern features a gold encrusted laurel border - all trimmed in gold on a smooth rim.
The teapot stands 4 1/2 inches tall and measures 10 1/4 inches long from handle to spout. It holds 4 fluid cups.
This serving piece is in very good condition. It was purchased in the 1980's and has had very little use. It still has the blue Aynsley sticker. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
