This is a custom built and painted Rock Island railroad exterior post wood Caboose, numbered 17653, in their earlier scheme with the “Courtesy Safety Service” logo.

This is an HO scale Resin Craftsman kit by Rocket Express, and they are currently unavailable from the manufacturer.

In addition to the metal wheels, it has Kadee 158 couplers, and full underframe piping. The finishing on this model is a bit rough, and it’s being sold as-is.
