I bought a lot of fly fishing equipment preparing for a year long expedition that never happened. It has all been in an air-conditioned closet since new. On these rods I have lost, through several moves, the tubes but the rods are new. I had the rods and reels in the carry-it-all shown but the carry-it-all is not included in the auction. It will be listed separately with the rest of my fishing gear as I do not think I will be able physically to spend time on the water. Cancer took a toll on me. I am not going anywhere soon, I am just half the man I used to be and don't have the strength to hike in to the places I always wanted to go or the speed to outrun a bear or a mountain lion that might see me as a tasty snack.
This is a beautiful rod and it will give you the ability to drop a nymph on a lurking trout or shadow cast to get a fish to rise or cast under low cover to find that trophy catch hiding in the shade on a hot day. It will handle the lightest flies with finesse and accuracy. I am truly sorry to be getting rid of all my gear but I was lucky once and do not want to tempt fate and leave my wife with a bunch of stuff for which she has absolutely no knowledge of how to sell.

So, after 5 days, I will end the auction and the high bider wins. I am just going out of town for a few weeks and do not want anyone to have to wait for me to ship a $300+ rod. That is not fair top the winner.
