Royal Worcester Hand Painted Signed Barker Red Floral & Gold Cup & Saucer D
Nice bone china demitasse cup and saucer. Nicely decorated in the
C1167 pattern with hand painted flowers to the bottom of the cup and in
the center of the saucer. With a red border with very elaborate gold
gilt scrollwork overlay. The handle of the cup is fully gilded. Signed
E. Barker by the artist Earnest Barker. Made by Royal Worcester for L.
B. King & Co in Detroit, Michigan. Marked on the bottom L. B. King
& Co Detroit, Mich and with a Royal Worcester mark over Royal
Worcester Made in England. There is a star with 10 dots underneath Royal
Worcester, which dates this to 1926. Also marked with the pattern
number C1167.
Has crazing typical of British bone china, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide.
This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
