Carl Schumann Dresden Style Reticulated Ducks on Lake Bowl Circa 1918 - 1929

Pretty reticulated porcelain bowl. Nicely decorated in the Dresden style with a scene of a duck on a lake and another duck flying over the lake. With flowers, trees, and a sailboat in the background. Has a border of fancy gold gilding in between the scene and the reticulation. With gold gilding along the edge of the bowl. Marked on the reverse in green with a crown above Bavaria. This mark was used by Carl Schumann between 1918 and 1929.

Has an in manufacture glazed over chip to the base rim. Also has a few small spots of wear to the scene and to the gilding. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
