Outstanding & substantial tall RUSTIC antique French housekeepers linen cupboard, worn dark blue paint with dusky pink interior, paintwork has some distressing 

Four internal shelves, shelves painted dusky pink with existing marks. No working locks, new catches fitted, ebonised knobs with brass hinges and circular brass turn latch 

Housekeeper has been brought over from France as it was, constructed solid old pine 

The cupboard is heavy & solid and shows all of its age & related marks with lumps and bumps to paintwork which keeps the age and character 

IMPORTANT: i would recommend at least two strong people to help move this cupboard, it's heavy!

DELIVERY

All delivery costs & returns are met by buyer, we can offer a one man local courier who collects from us and we can offer there details or give you approx. delivery rates before purchasing, our local courier may deliver up to 170 miles or more subject to routes from Gatwick area. For further afield deliveries we would recommend to use Shiply or Anyvan or proovia for deliveries. We do not offer delivery outside the UK mainland

We hand wrap all items prior to shipping and can offer more local delivery as part of a service but we are not affiliated with any of the couriers, delivery is STRICTLY THE RESPONSIBILITY between the buyer and courier. Our local delivery courier is a one man service and to the ground floor/entrance only, someone will/may need to help assist with unloading, larger items i.e counters/housekeepers will need at least two strong people to help unload. Delivery days & times are when the courier can arrange the delivery, more local deliveries are done with 5 - 7 working days, further afield up to 20 working days

We are not liable for any damages/delays while in transit, the courier company has its own insurance during transit, we will help wherever we can, photos are taken before/on delivery day, the buyer needs to check the item on arrival for any damages, any damages need to be notified to the transportation companies you used upon delivery/quick as possible as damages may not be accepted after and you may be liable after this period. Original eclectic will not be held responsible for any damages during or after transit 

TERMS

IMPORTANT Before purchasing a vintage/antique item please make sure you have read the listing carefully and to make sure vintage/antique means used and not brand new, all our items are up to 150 years old and will show signs of age and may have old historical marks which include bumps & scrapes, old extinct woodworm holes which are treated as a matter of course, items may have old/new repairs using new/old products. All our items are sold as seen and fit for purpose.  All major defects will be noted, all old woodworm holes are treated as a precaution, it is impossible for us to say that everything is 100% woodworm free and will not be held responsible for activity at a later date. Please check for ease of access for item, measurements of openings and furniture dimensions, there is strictly no returns/refunds for item 'does not fit'

When purchasing large items i.e. housekeepers, wardrobes, dressers & tall items, you will need to fix items where appropriate to a solid fixing in the wall, we will not be held responsible for any items that have not been fixed safely where needed that could fall forward and cause injury/damage 

RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

All items are sold as seen in there used antique/vintage condition, all items are fit for purpose. 14 day money back service is offered from the date you receive the item and contact needs to be within 1 day of receiving the item 

All items need to be checked for any damages on arrival, please notify the couriers on arrival. If the item has not been checked on arrival you will be liable for any damages once the item has been delivered 

If however you decide you would like to return or exchange your item(s) Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item and you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return it in its original packaging and resalable condition under the Distance selling regulations. Returned items should be unused and the item should be returned in its original condition that it was sent to you with original packaging, all shipping costs/return are the buyer responsibility, refunds will only be given once we have received the item/s and they have been inspected for any damage or use. Once returned we will inspect the item is brought back in the exact same condition it was sent to you and suitable for resale, if any mishandling to item by the buyer has occurred we may make a deduction from the refund by UK law
