Relisted as the last two winning bidders were jokers - Kris, and Gordon, who seem to live in La la Land, -  never arrived.

    I bought the car off ebay in October 2022 to drive because of ULEZ in London, and had the only outstanding safety recall done at Mercedes West London, for the airbag fault. Note, it is an old car, and sold as seen.   It drives ok but is noisy, and cheap.

   I  had my mechanic service it for wife to drive and have used for over a year and a half. I have bills for this work

    During this time it has been fine, the only things I have had done is to replace the two front shock absorbers, and fixed a boot and door lock problem.

  I have just put through M.o.t test and had to have one tyre changed before test to pass, so it has a near full 12 month's M.o.t but is sold as seen.

  I have now done nearly 7000 miles in it, and it is Ulez compliant.

    So any inspection is welcome. Someone could get a real bargain as a small school runaround. It has cost me just 35p a mile to own and run this car. The car is cheap to fuel, insure, and tax and has paid for it self.

    Obviously, I can not guarantee whether it will do another 1,000, 10,000 or another 100,000 miles, but it is sold as seen.

    There was some service history when I bought it, but what do you expect for under £900-00.  It should make a nice small car for a foriegn family touring the country this summer on holiday, or as a delivery uber car, back up, small town run around or even a commuter car. That's your choice.

 It's ok, not special but the most annoying thing to me about this car is

 

1) The position of the handbrake is in your armpit,  

2)  All the controls are all auto, or on one steering wheel stalk, Not like my other car. So when I drive the other car I work the window washers - instead of flashing an oncoming car; or indicating to turn a corner, which I find annoying and dangerous .

  I am not a mechanic, but please do not waste your time, or mine, by trying to lower the price at the end - like Ade the quantity surveyor from Hackney.

   I can say it is clean and nice inside, but it might need a bit of a hoover on the Mercedes mats, and radio works but not the original c.d.

             So It looks good and it would be nice to see it go to a good home and looked after by the next new owner.

 

 It has electric mirrors, and air con, a space saver wheel and lots of little useful cubby holes. It has five seats and a childs chair can be fitted , if required. Also the rear seats fold down flat easily, or can even be lifted out to make a small van for the delivery of parcels or like me collecting a window in it..

   Arrange to come and see it, and inspect it for yourself -  but note the mileage may go up slightly as I use it regularly.

   There is some Service History, from the past two owners plus mine. The car has a manual, some history and two keys.

  Outside Faults Note;   1) it has a small patch of peeling paint on the bonnet in one very small space (see Headlight photo). 2)  A bit of rust on the drivers door (see Passenger side photo) and 3) the rear corner was bumped by a previous owner. Not me, and 4)  has been fine for two m.o.t's (see Rear quarterlight photo) but is very slightly out of line. Lastly, 5) a small mark on the drivers bumper valance, that is almost impossible to see (see Drivers side shot of bonnet photo). So overall the car looks all quite tidy and good, as you can see from the photos I have posted except for two lights on the dasboard waring about the ESP and

              Remember, it is sold as seen, with no returns, please do come and inspect it, and do not complain after bidding has finished.

     Note, I start it low at the price the dealer offered me for it,  and will let the auction run, so there is no "buy it now" price. 

             Buyer to contact me, and to leave a non returnable deposit  of ten percent of final sum on end of auction within two days, or lose it.

                     Then to arrange collection promptly within the week, at a mutually convenient time.

    With payment of the final auction balance in cash on collection, or with me by prearranged bank transfer before collection. 

        Collection must be made by appointment, or in first ten days from the time of sale ending on Ebay, or you will lose your deposit.

                         No tyre kickers, time wasters, village idiots like Kris, Gordon or Car auction dealers like Ade, or silly dreamers.

    Bidders with low ebay ratings below ten, may be ignored unless you contact me. -  Remember, it is an old car, nice - and cheap.   If you want a new Rolls Royce Canardly - pop down to your local Harrods and buy one.  Or get a cheap chinese copy somewhere else.... Or make me a reasonable offer.

             Note; After having two zero bidders, who did not turn up and a part time car dealer come drive 60 miles to try and get it reduced, -  No chance - - Low feedback bidders below twenty need to register or contact me,  before auction ends, as have had two idiot timewasters win and then not arrive on their magic flying carpets.  Remember it's bid bud, and then buy. Come and Try, see it before,  - - -  do not haggle aftewards.
