A beautiful example of this vintage West German snare fromthe 1960’s. The shell has been re- finished in Delmar Champagne Sparkle(aka Bermuda Sand the most expensive of the Delmar wraps).

Unusually the parallel throw off mechanism is complete andworks well. The wires are brand new/replacement Gibraltar ones of the correct extended length with the original Trixon ends fitted. This provides the samepositive action as the originals and makes replacement with readily availablewires straightforward.

The chrome is in very good condition.

The snare has a working dampener and the original sticksaver hoops and slotted tension rods.

Unlike some earlier Trixon snares this drum takes standard, modern 14" heads.
