It is a knife used by parachute troops and Special Forces (Commandos) manufactured by the ERIZO factory, located in the City of Río Cuarto, Province of Córdoba, Argentina, from the seventies to the present.
The blade is gladio type, with a rhomboidal section, it has a tang into which the guard and the handle fit, which are held by a screw that presses the entire assembly.
The tip of the blade is a somewhat rounded "V".
It has the trademark written "ERIZO".
The handle is made of wood, which tells us that it is from the 70s. The guard and mitt are made of a single piece made of aluminum.
The sheath is sewn leather, made into a sheath itself, with a metal mouth and another piece that acts as a baldric. The knife is held by a loop that takes it by the handle so that it does not fall from the sheath.
Total length 333 mm.
Blade length 190 mm.
Blade Width 31.8 mm.
Sheet thickness 4.5 mm.
Handle 90 mm.
The measurement of the handle is the internal one delimited by the mitt.
