Very unique and interesting 12 size pocket watch by Waltham that has a flat, weighted bottom so it can be used as a desk clock or bedside table clock. Collectible American watch from 1901. Missing its winding stem and crown, but otherwise complete. The movement drops into a solid case back and then the bezel attaches. Pendant setting at 12 o'clock. Access holes in the case. The balance staff swings freely on the Waltham Grade 210 movement with 7 jewels but is has not been tested, so sold as non-running. Pristine movement. Clear glass crystal. Nice Roman Numeral dial looks good in normal viewing but it has hairlines.

What you see are reflections, not wear or flaws. Look carefully at the many pictures, as they are a large part of the description here. Keep in mind that the pictures are magnified 2.5X, so small details are exaggerated in the macro photos that are not relevant in normal viewing.
