This is a vintage cloisonné vase originating from China. It is made of brass and features deep burgundy red enamel with twin dragons as the design. I am unsure of the exact date of manufacture, but it does seem consistent with postwar period, midcentury pieces. However, I'm not certain and it might be somewhat older. Base is unmarked, but the style and composition is unmistakably Chinese.

Dimensions:

About 10" tall and 5" wide at the shoudlers

Condition:

Excellent overall condition. Mold tarnish to the brass trim here and there. One small impact fracture  on one of the flowers, but its difficult to notice unless you're actually looking for it. A couple of faint surface scratches here and there. Otherwise good!

Thanks for looking!
