Herend Chinese bouquet Rust porcelain is one of the most sought-after patterns in the world!  It continues to increase in value and is constantly in demand.

Hand painted and hand made, the detail is stunning and enhanced with hand applied Gold trim.

HISTORY:  The origin of this pattern is from the early years of Herend, design taken from an c1867 pattern "INDIAN FLOWER BASKET " and adapted for Count Apponyi in 1930 who requested that the dominant motif be enlarged and simplified resulting in this CLASSIC pattern.

Main motif:  " Flowers of the Indies" with the Peony in center  embodies the exoticness of the Far East along wirh the the trim expressing  classic ancient Chinoiserie.  In addition the color RUST reflects the popular Chinese Red found in the most sought-after classic design.
