Haviland Limoges Hand Painted Black Berries & Blossoms Soup Plate C. 1876-1889
Pretty
porcelain deep soup plate / rimmed soup bowl. Nicely decorated with
hand painted pink blossoms and blackberries over a sky blue background.
With gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom H & Co L in
green. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Haviland & Co in
Limoges France between 1876 and 1889.
Has some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 9 1/8 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
