Nippon Hand Painted Dark & Light Pink Roses & Raised Beaded Gold Ewer Pitcher

Nice antique Japanese porcelain ewer. Decorated with large hand painted dark and light pink roses over a white maroon. With raised gold scrollwork. Has gold beading around the neck. The spout and handle are ivory with gold gilt highlights. Marked on the bottom with a blue Maple leaf and Nippon Hand Painted. This mark was used between 1891 and 1911.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide x 7 5/8 inches tall.
