We sell beautiful antique cast spelter lamp depicting a peasant boy warming up by the fire, made in France, c. 1900-1920s. After the sculpture by Aristide de Ranieri ( 1865-1929) .Titled on the front brass tag: “ Enfant a la Mouche par A. de Ranieri ( Statuaire)”.Also having a “ Fabrication Francaise, made in France” round brass stamp at the rear of the statue.The lamp has a  purple shade. Lights up the boy’s face beautifully when turned on.

Condition: overall wear, consistent with age and use, with areas of oxidation and darker brown spots, original patina. The electrical cord is not original.  

Good vintage working condition.
