This is a set of 4 authentic vintage cassette tapes (1986) perfect for any beloved Worlds of Wonder original Teddy Ruxpin collection. Each tape contains special programming which enables animation in the original Worlds of Wonder Teddy Ruxpin Bear. Insert this tape into Teddy and watch as he springs to life as his eyes and mouth move to the stories. The programming works in other original Worlds of Wonder toys such as talking Mother Goose, and Talking Mickey. These tapes are unique in that they come from unopened cases of cassette tapes which were on the assembly line preparing for shrink-wrapping when Worlds of Wonder went out of business in 1991.
*Please note this auction is only for the set of 4 cassette tapes and does not include the books or Teddy Ruxpin toy bear.
The tapes are not intended to be used in regular cassette players, as the programming makes an audible humming.
They are intended only for the original Worlds of Wonder toys, as subsequent manufacturers which produced Teddy Ruxpin after Worlds of Wonder went out of business (YES and Playskool) created products incompatible with one another.
